  • We got a chance to test a few bags of Pioneer’s Aquamax last season in a test plot we ran in one of our fields. That ended up being a wet area and actually flooded some of the test area. Of what we were able to test the Aquamax was the clear yield winner. It was the only hybrid marketed as drought tolerant. I’ve heard very good things from farmers across the nation via social media who were able to plant some of these varieties during this drought. Even if they don’t have great yields, these corn acres are beating everything else on their farms. Nitrogen use efficiency is coming and that’s going to be a big deal too.
